On the occasion of Comrade Tran Thanh Man was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at At the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, President of the Lao National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane; Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji; President of the Cambodian People's Party, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia Samdech Techo HunSen; President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia Samdech Khuon Sudary; President of the National Assembly of the People's Power of Cuba Esteban Lazo Hernandez sent congratulatory letters.

* In the Congratulatory Letter, President of the Lao National Assembly Saysomphone Phomvihane firmly believes that, with his capacity and rich experience, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will continue to lead the Vietnamese National Assembly to achieve even greater achievements in organizing the implementation of the functions, powers and tasks of the legislative body; affirms his readiness to cooperate with National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man to continue developing the relationship between the legislative bodies of the two countries as well as contributing to tightening and nurturing the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, two States and peoples to continue to develop, deepen and bear fruit.

* Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji He said that the National People's Congress of China and the National Assembly of Vietnam maintain close exchanges through flexible forms, actively contributing to deepening the exchange of experiences in Party building and national governance, and enhancing the friendship between the people of the two countries.

Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji expressed his willingness to work with National Assembly Chairman Chen Qingmin to implement the important common understanding of the top leaders of the two parties, deepen exchanges and cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries, serve the construction of the socialist democratic rule of law in each country, and make efforts to contribute to the building of the China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future of strategic significance.

* President of the Cambodian People's Party Hun Sen expressed confidence that, under the leadership of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the Vietnamese National Assembly will achieve many great achievements in implementing national policies and make important contributions to maintaining peace, stability, sustainable development and prosperity in the region and the world.

As President of the Cambodian Senate, President Hun Sen emphasized that the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia is growing and cooperation is increasingly close in all fields; he expressed his belief that under the leadership of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the Vietnamese National Assembly will continue to support and promote parliamentary cooperation between the two countries to develop comprehensively and effectively within the framework of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, making positive contributions to peace, stability and prosperity of the two countries and the region.
