According to information from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong, during the April 30 holiday this year, Da Lat is expected to welcome a large number of tourists. To meet the needs of tourists, accommodation facilities here have been prepared with a variety of services, from luxury hotels to cozy homestays. Mr. Tran Thanh Hoai - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong said: "We are ready to welcome a large number of tourists during the April 30 holiday. Accommodation facilities strictly comply with regulations on safety and hygiene, to ensure the health of tourists". During the 5-day holiday, Da Lat City, Lam Dong province is expected to welcome about 200,000 tourists. In order to be proactive in ensuring security and safety for people and tourists, in recent times, the provincial police departments have implemented many programs and measures, coordinated with functional agencies to closely inspect and monitor industries and fields related to security and order. Up to this point, businesses are ready to serve tourists, expecting a successful tourist season. Da Lat City currently has nearly 2,500 tourist accommodation establishments, with about 31,000 rooms. The police force regularly propagates, inspects, and reminds owners to strictly comply with regulations on security and order, fire prevention and fighting, and participates with interdisciplinary delegations of the province and city to inspect and monitor nearly 2,300 establishments operating in the field of food safety.

In order to serve customers attentively, most business owners strictly follow the legal regulations on business, food and beverage products, ensure food hygiene and safety procedures, publicly post menus and prices...

In addition, Da Lat also organizes many cultural, artistic and sports activities to serve tourists during this holiday. Events such as flower festivals, art exhibitions and outdoor sports activities will take place at many locations in the city. Famous attractions such as Xuan Huong Lake, City Flower Garden, Valley of Love, and eco-tourism areas such as Mong Mo Hill, will be indispensable choices for tourists.

Lam Dong Provincial Police have also proactively inspected transportation, accommodation, motorbike and car rental businesses... to organize propaganda and commit to strictly implementing regulations on security and order, fire prevention and fighting, traffic safety and order, passenger transportation, loading and unloading of goods and participating in traffic... especially during holidays to create clear roads, open sidewalks, prevent accidents and traffic jams. In addition, during the holiday, 100% of the provincial Traffic Police force will be on duty with the Mobile Police, Order Police, police of wards, communes and towns to organize closed patrols 24/24h, resolutely handling behaviors that are the main causes of traffic accidents such as: speeding, reckless driving, driving in the wrong lane, violating alcohol and drug concentrations,...

Along with that, plans to prevent traffic congestion from the gateways to Lam Dong to Da Lat City, especially from National Highway 20 through Da Huoai District to Mimosa Pass, Prenn, have been developed by the authorities to quickly approach and clear the scene if a collision or accident occurs. At the same time, regular exchanges and coordination with the police of provinces such as Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City are conducted to grasp the traffic situation from afar, early on, promptly handle complicated problems that arise and prevent and combat violations of the law.

In order to serve tourists attentively, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has also requested the provincial tourism sector and functional units to strengthen propaganda and remind owners of accommodation, food, entertainment, and shopping establishments to properly implement the Code of Conduct for Civilized Tourism issued by the Provincial People's Committee, demonstrating civility, professionalism, prestige, and quality in the process of providing services.

With careful preparations and a variety of activities, Da Lat will certainly be an ideal destination for tourists during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year.
