Specifically, at around 1:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025, the unit received a report from the local authorities about the case of Phung Xa Xo, born in 2018, female, La Hu ethnic group, daughter of Mr. Phung Phi Du, born in 1971, residing in U Ma village, Pa U commune, missing for unknown reasons.

After receiving the news, the unit sent forces to U Ma village, Pa U commune to verify the information and learned that Phung Xa Xo was mute and could not speak. On the morning of April 30, Xo's parents went to work in the fields and left him at home. When his parents returned from work at noon that day, they could not find him. The family and villagers organized a search but could not find him.

Xo's health condition has stabilized and he is being taken home by his family for care.

After receiving the information, Pa U Border Guard Station sent officers and soldiers to coordinate with local authorities, people, and Pa U commune police to search for Xo.

At around 9:45 a.m. on May 2, the search forces found Xo in the old forest area bordering U Ma village and Ha Xi village of the commune. The location where Xo was found was about 5km from the center of U Ma village.

After finding Xo, the search team took measures to ensure his health. Currently, Xo's health condition has stabilized and he has been brought home to be cared for by his parents.

Through understanding the situation, it is known that Xo followed his brother out and got lost in the forest.
