When will the exam results and application registration be announced on the system?

Master Nguyen Thi Xuan Dung, Director of the Media Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, noted that candidates need to grasp some important milestones after completing the high school graduation exam, including the time to announce exam results and admission.

"First, according to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, candidates will know their high school graduation exam scores. Next, high schools will organize graduation recognition exams no later than July 19, announce exam results no later than 2 days later, and send certificates of these exam results by the deadline of July 23. Thus, students will receive temporary graduation certificates before July 23."

Regarding university admission, Master Dung said that candidates need to pay attention to the time frame for registering and adjusting admission wishes for the first round on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training, which is from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30. Candidates will pay the admission fee online according to the instructions from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6.

After that, the successful candidates must complete the first round of online admission confirmation on the common system no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 27.

"According to the general trend, this year many universities have organized early admissions and many candidates have received early admission results at the schools. Another important note is that candidates who are eligible for early admission are required to register their first round of admission wishes on the common system from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30," Master Xuan Dung emphasized.

Although the number of registered wishes is unlimited, candidates can only be admitted to one wish, so Master Xuan Dung advises candidates to arrange their wishes in order of priority from high to low to ensure the chance of admission. For wishes that candidates have met the conditions for early admission according to the university's announcement, if they put them up as the first wish on the system, the chance of admission is almost certain.

Dr. Nguyen Van Kha, Deputy Director of the Admissions and Communications Center of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, also reminded candidates to remember four extremely important milestones: registering their wishes, adjusting their wishes, confirming their admission, and paying their admission fees.

"If you do not follow the above 4 timelines, you will lose your chance to be admitted and have to wait for the additional admission round. Especially when registering for admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system, if candidates are eligible for early admission to the desired major or school, they only need to register their first choice, which is that major or school, on the system and they will definitely be admitted," said Dr. Kha.

In case you still want to continue to register for admission using high school graduation exam scores, candidates need to carefully research the admission information of schools using this method (quota, floor score...), and also refer to the standard scores of previous years to make a suitable choice.
