The organizers awarded the Gold Medal to the winning author.
With the theme: "Country - People of the Eastern region on the path of integration & development". After nearly 4 months of launching, the Organizing Committee of the Photo Festival received 1,586 works (117 photo series, 1,469 single photos) from 217 authors from 08 participating provinces, including: Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong and Tay Ninh.
The works have shown the beauty of nature, the country, and the people in the region. They reflect the achievements of economy, science and technology, social security, national defense, increased international exchange and integration, etc.; typical examples of progress, studying and following the ideology, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh; the beauty in the cultural and spiritual life of ethnic minorities, preserving and promoting the national cultural identity.
Through the judging rounds, the Jury used specialized photography software to select 156 photographic works (133 single photos, 23 photo series) by 83 authors to display at the exhibition (Binh Thuan had 20 works by 11 authors selected). On August 17, the Jury publicly judged and unanimously selected 13 outstanding works to award prizes.
At the Opening Ceremony on the morning of August 19, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the authors whose works won prizes, including: 01 Gold Medal for the work " Ba Ria - Vung Tau - Destination of international super yachts " by author Do Tuan Hung (Ba Ria - Vung Tau); 02 Silver Medals for the work "Highway construction" photo series by author Vu Tien Chuong (Dong Nai) and the work "Eyes" by author Tran Nguyen Vu (Ninh Thuan); 04 Bronze Medals for the works " White stork hunting for prey" by author Nguyen Tran Vu (Binh Thuan), the work " End of day's work" by author Dinh Le Thai Huy (Ninh Thuan), the work " Cham features" by author Nguyen Bao Son (Ninh Thuan), the work " Dawn on the top of Ba Den mountain " by author Duong Duc Kien (Tay Ninh); 0 6 Encouragement Prizes went to the work " Keeping up with the highway progress " by Tran Tuy (Binh Thuan), the work " The initiation ceremony of Ba Ni" by Nguyen Van Anh (Binh Thuan), the work " Yoga and life " by Nguyen Chi Trung (Dong Nai), the work " White gold " by Lo Van Hop (Dong Nai), the work "Da Lat in the misty season " by Pham Quoc Thang (Lam Dong), the work " The process of launching and transporting the longest drilling rig base ever manufactured in Vietnam for export abroad" by Tran Ngoc Thinh (Ba Ria - Vung Tau).
