According to technology experts, the iPhone SE 4 will be the biggest upgrade ever of this product line.

- New design

Accordingly, the iPhone SE 4 is said to have a similar design to the iPhone 14 but with many notable improvements. In particular, the device is expected to be equipped with an OLED screen with a rabbit ear, 6.06 inches in size, integrated FaceID instead of a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. However, this model is only equipped with one rear camera instead of two like on the iPhone 14.

- USB-C port

Following the European Union's regulations on unifying charging standards on electronic devices, the iPhone SE 4 will switch from Lightning to USB-C.

- Apple Intelligence and custom modems

The iPhone SE 4 will have 8GB of RAM to support Apple Intelligence features and a multi-function Action button that replaces the mute switch. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be the first smartphone equipped with a 5G chip designed by Apple, codenamed Centauri. This modem is responsible for 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity, helping Apple significantly reduce component costs.

- 48MP camera

In addition, the new iPhone SE model will integrate a 48MP rear camera and a 12MP front TrueDepth camera. The main camera is expected to have the same parameters as the iPhone 16 with Fusion technology for 2x zoom.

The Phone SE 4 is expected to launch in March 2025 with a starting price of $499.
