At the 17th Special Session, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council passed Resolutions on the establishment, merger and dissolution of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. Accordingly, 6 departments were established, including: Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Construction, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, and the Department of Foreign Affairs was dissolved. After the arrangement, Dak Lak province has 13 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee (reducing 6 affiliated specialized agencies).
