Art competition "Compatriot love in Tay Do land"

(CTO) - On June 15, at Turtle Hall - Can Tho University, the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Association in Can Tho City, in coordination with the Can Tho University Student Association and the Bac Lieu and Ca Mau Student Associations, organized the 2nd "Compatriot Love in the Western Capital" Art Competition in 2025.

With the motto “Connecting - Accompanying - Spreading love”, the program is a bridge connecting the children of Bac Lieu - Ca Mau who are studying at universities in the Southwest region. This is not only an artistic playground for students but also spreads the spirit of solidarity, attachment, and promotes the cultural identity of the homeland in the student community.

The art competition had 22 performances from 11 Student Associations of Bac Lieu and Ca Mau from universities in Can Tho City, Hau Giang Province and Vinh Long Province. The participating units brought elaborate, meaningful performances imbued with the identity of their homeland.

Within the framework of the program, there will also be a career orientation and startup inspiration seminar, with the participation and sharing of representatives from businesses and schools.

22 scholarships were awarded to students in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Association in Can Tho City awarded 22 scholarships (each worth 2 million VND) to students in difficult circumstances, sponsored by Nam A Bank. In addition, the Bac Lieu - Ca Mau Student Club in Can Tho City was also launched. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of the program mobilized and awarded 100 English learning cards, worth 50 million VND, to the club...
