The contest attracted 199 teachers from 12 districts, towns and cities in the province, including 154 teachers competing in cultural subjects and 45 teachers in specialized subjects (English, Information Technology, Music, Physical Education, Fine Arts).

Participating in the contest, teachers compete in two categories: presenting a measure to contribute to improving the quality of individual teaching at the educational institution where the teacher is working; practicing teaching a lesson of the primary school program according to the educational plan at the time of the contest of the school chosen as the venue for the contest.

The contest aims to discover, evaluate and honor excellent teachers and promote advanced models; create opportunities for teachers to learn, exchange experiences, strive to practice and be creative in teaching, improve professional capacity, and contribute to improving the quality of education in schools and the education sector.

The contest took place from March 12 to 28 at To Hieu Primary School and Chieng Le Primary School, Son La city.
