On the morning of September 26, the Association of War Veterans of Yen Khanh district held the inauguration ceremony of the "Comrades' House" for Mr. Vu Trung Kien, 62 years old, a veteran in Khanh Tien commune who has difficulty with housing.
Attending the event were representatives of the provincial War Veterans Association, Yen Khanh district, war veterans and people of hamlet 6, Khanh Tien commune.
The house was built at a total value of over 200 million VND, of which the District Veterans Association supported 60 million VND; relatives in the family supported 140 million VND; the Commune Veterans Association, unions, and the Front Committee of Hamlet 6 supported 200 working days.
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Vu Trung Kien's family received many gifts and condolences from organizations.
This is a meaningful activity of the Yen Khanh Veterans Association, demonstrating the ethics of "When drinking water, remember its source", "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves", "Mutual love" and responding to the emulation movement "Joining hands for the poor - Leaving no one behind" launched by the Prime Minister.
