Hoi An City People's Committee assigned Hoi An Cultural Heritage Management and Conservation Center to install signs and take appropriate shielding measures. Minh An and Cam Pho Ward People's Committees increased inspection, reminders and regulation to reduce pedestrian traffic on the bridge to limit the load.

Currently, the wooden bridge connecting Bach Dang Street and Cong Nu Ngoc Hoa Street is seriously degraded, especially the floorboards and railings are rotten and broken and disconnected in many places, leading to safety risks for residents and tourists when traveling on the bridge.

Therefore, Hoi An City People's Committee has requested the Department of Finance - Planning and related agencies and units to actively coordinate in appraising investment documents and related legal procedures to organize the construction of this wooden bridge project according to the approved investment policy in the soonest time.

Thereby, connecting traffic between Bach Dang Street and Cong Nu Ngoc Hoa Street and ensuring safety, reducing the load on the Chua Cau relic; at the same time ensuring the walking street landscape serving tourists and people coming to visit and travel in Hoi An ancient town.
