The Diplomatic Academy has just announced the minimum admission scores for priority candidates according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; early admission based on high school academic results; admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.
The minimum score on a 30-point scale (including priority points) for blocks A00, D03, D04, D06 is 21.5 points; blocks A01, D01, D07 is 22.5 points; the highest minimum score for block C00 is 23.5 points.
The Academy notes that except for candidates who register for admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, the Academy accepts the results of foreign language exemption according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training to calculate the score to meet the threshold to ensure input quality for candidates who register for admission according to the remaining methods.
For candidates who graduate from high school before 2024 and apply for early admission based on high school academic results, the floor score is determined based on the floor score of the Diplomatic Academy prescribed in the year the candidate takes the high school graduation exam.
For candidates who are admitted early based on interview results, the minimum score is 12/20 points.
In 2024, the Diplomatic Academy will recruit a total of 2,200 students, of which the school will reserve 1,540 students for admission based on academic records, equivalent to 70% of the admission quota.
The remaining three admission methods include direct admission, priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission based on interview results; admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.
In the 2024-2025 school year, the expected tuition fee of the Diplomatic Academy is 3.4 million VND/month for international trade law; 3.6 million VND/month for Asia-Pacific studies; 4.5 million VND/month for the remaining majors.
Last year, the benchmark score of the Diplomatic Academy based on high school graduation exam scores ranged from 25.27 to 28.46, with the highest being for international communications in the C00 group (literature, history, geography).
