Many private schools in Hanoi have announced tuition fees for high school graduation exams for the 2025-2026 school year, ranging from VND2-95.5 million/month.
Currently, Hanoi has more than 100 non-public high schools. The highest tuition fee is 95.5 million VND/month at Dwight Hanoi School, equivalent to 955 million VND/year.

In addition to tuition fees, parents may have to pay a number of other fees, such as admission fees, registration fees, school transportation fees, uniforms, facilities fees, school construction and development fees, or additional tuition fees for English and Math... In total, these fees add up to tens of millions of VND per year.
This year, it is expected that the whole of Hanoi will have about 127,000 students taking the junior high school graduation exam, of which 79,000 will be admitted to public grade 10, and 48,000 will study at private high schools, vocational education centers, and continuing education centers.
