The program was implemented by Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School in collaboration with the District 3 Traffic Police Team (Ho Chi Minh City Police). The propaganda session aimed to educate students to master the regulations of the Road Traffic Law as well as the skills to safely drive motorbikes. In order to minimize traffic safety violations or traffic accidents.
Strictly obey traffic safety laws for your own life.
At the program, a reporter from the District 3 Traffic Police Team informed students about traffic accidents and violations of traffic safety laws.
In addition, it is necessary to disseminate to students the legal regulations directly related to their common violations such as: regulations on wearing helmets, carrying more people than the prescribed number when participating in traffic, age for being granted a driver's license, which vehicles are allowed to be driven when participating in traffic and forms of handling when students violate the Road Traffic Law; emphasizing the role and responsibility of traffic participants in ensuring traffic order and safety...
The reporter showed real videos from traffic accidents caused by violations of traffic safety regulations, then analyzed the situations leading to the accidents with the students, making many students actively absorb the knowledge.
Phuc Khang (student of class 10A15) said he was surprised to witness the horrific accidents. After analyzing with the police, the students realized that obeying traffic safety is not only to "avoid being fined" but also to ensure the life and health of themselves and those around them.

Shared responsibility to protect students
Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Van Ba - Vice Principal of Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, District 3 - shared: "The school is making efforts to promote propaganda for students about issues related to traffic safety.
Coordinating with the District 3 Traffic Police Team to organize the program is one of the school's annual activities. In addition to propaganda in the school yard, the board of directors also requires homeroom teachers of each class to regularly remind and encourage students to always comply with road traffic safety laws.

The school's parking lot has also been requested not to keep students' vehicles over 50cc when entering the school and to record a report to the school board.
According to Mr. Van Ba, the school’s efforts will not be most effective without the cooperation of parents and students. The school has asked parents to sign a commitment to ensure traffic safety for their children when going to school. Many parents are also negligent in picking up and dropping off students without helmets, and giving their children motorbikes over 50cc to drive to school when they are not old enough according to regulations.
Combining the efforts of the school, the concern of parents and the self-awareness of students is the key to helping create a safe traffic environment for children to travel to school every day.

Major Nguyen Anh Thoai, an officer of the District 3 Traffic Police Team, shared: "In October, during the peak campaign on traffic safety in Ho Chi Minh City, District 3 Police in particular and related agencies and organizations all participated in propaganda work with the aim of raising awareness among students and parents to strictly comply with road traffic safety laws.
The story of students violating traffic laws is not only the fault of the students but also due to many parents' lack of awareness in the process of taking their children to and from school.
Since the beginning of the school year, District 3 Police have taken action against more than 30 cases of students violating traffic safety laws in the area. The list of violators will be compiled and sent to schools. This directly affects the assessment of students' conduct during the school year.
