After reaching the new rural area goal in 2017, Hong Ky commune continues to promote propaganda, raise awareness of Party committees, authorities and people of all walks of life, and maintain the achieved new rural criteria. In addition, it focuses on mobilizing all resources and strives to complete the construction of advanced new rural areas.

Since 2018, the commune has received investment from Hanoi City and Soc Son District to synchronously upgrade rural infrastructure, especially the electricity - road - school - station system. Through the construction of new rural areas, many new models and effective methods have been widely deployed, contributing to changing the appearance of Hong Ky commune.

Along with Hong Ky commune, the new rural construction movement continues to spread in Tan Minh and Dong Xuan communes. Up to now, 3/3 communes have met 19 criteria in the set of criteria for advanced new rural communes in the period 2021 - 2025. During the process of building new rural areas, the communes have not had any outstanding debts in basic construction. The 3 communes are also not complicated in terms of security and order.

On December 29, the Hanoi New Rural Area Appraisal Team inspected and reviewed the application files for consideration and recognition of communes meeting advanced new rural standards of 3 communes: Tan Minh, Hong Ky and Dong Xuan (Soc Son district).

The members of the appraisal team, representing the departments and branches, frankly pointed out the issues that need to be further improved. At the same time, they highly agreed that the three communes: Tan Minh, Hong Ky and Dong Xuan, are qualified to complete the dossier to submit to the competent authority for consideration and recognition of meeting the advanced new rural standards in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Chief of Office of the Hanoi City New Rural Development Program Coordination Office Ngo Van Ngon highly appreciated the results of advanced new rural construction achieved by the three communes: Tan Minh, Hong Ky and Dong Xuan.

Mr. Ngo Van Ngon suggested that the communes accept the comments of the appraisal team members, complete the dossier to submit to the competent authority for consideration and recognition of meeting the advanced new rural standards in 2024. At the same time, continue to pay attention, invest in upgrading and mobilize the participation of all classes of people in maintaining the new rural criteria.

Previously on December 28, the Hanoi New Rural Area Assessment Team inspected and reviewed the application for recognition of communes meeting advanced new rural standards in 4 communes of Soc Son district, including Tan Dan, Thanh Xuan, Minh Phu and Hien Ninh. As a result, the above 4 communes are also eligible to complete the application to submit to the competent authority for consideration and recognition of meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.
