The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision to recognize 38 communes of 12 districts: Chuong My, My Duc, Thuong Tin, Ung Hoa, Phu Xuyen, Dong Anh, Phuc Tho, Ba Vi, Soc Son, Quoc Oai, Thach That and Thanh Oai, meeting advanced new rural standards (phase 2) in 2024.

Among the communes recognized this time, Soc Son district has 7 communes: Dong Xuan, Hong Ky, Hien Ninh, Minh Phu, Tan Dan, Tan Minh, Thanh Xuan. Chuong My district has 4 communes: Huu Van, Ngoc Hoa, Tan Tien, Thanh Binh, Thuong Vuc.

Ung Hoa district has 4 communes: Dai Cuong, Kim Duong, Minh Duc, Phuong Tu. Dong Anh district has 3 communes: Dai Mach, Hai Boi, Thuy Lam. My Duc district has 3 communes: Hop Tien, Hop Thanh, Thuong Lam. Phu Xuyen district has 3 communes: Chau Can, Hong Thai, Phu Tuc.

Thach That district has 2 communes: Lai Thuong, Phung Xa. Quoc Oai district has 3 communes: Can Huu, Ngoc Liep, Phu Man. Thuong Tin district has 3 communes: Le Loi, Tan Minh, Tien Phong. Phuc Tho district has 2 communes: Phung Thuong, Tam Hiep. Thanh Oai district has 2 communes: Binh Minh, Thanh Mai. Ba Vi district has Co Do commune.

According to the decision, communes meeting advanced new rural standards (phase 2) in 2024 will be awarded a Certificate of recognition for the title of commune meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024 and a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.

Hanoi City requests that the People's Committees of districts and communes be responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of the achieved criteria and continuing to build model new rural areas in the 2021-2025 period according to regulations.

Thus, up to now, Hanoi City has issued decisions to recognize 229/382 communes meeting advanced new rural standards (accounting for 59.9% of the total number of communes), exceeding 73 communes compared to the target of Program No. 04-CTr/TU set by the 17th Hanoi Party Committee.
