DNVN - In response to the Red Journey program chaired by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, hundreds of officers and employees of Qui Phuc Company participated in voluntary blood donation at the "Red drops from the city named after Uncle Ho" festival on the morning of June 12.
The Red Journey is a nationwide voluntary blood donation campaign with the mission of "Connecting Vietnamese blood" chaired by the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in coordination with other organizations. The main goal of the program is to mobilize and receive blood from the community, meet the needs of emergency care, treat patients and overcome the annual blood shortage. 2024 is the 12th time the Red Journey has been organized, lasting from June 1 to July 28, 2024 in 51 provinces/cities and is expected to receive over 120,000 units of blood.
Rewarding individuals with outstanding achievements in voluntary blood donation in 2023
In 8 years of accompanying the Red Journey, millions of blood units from Qui Phuc employees have been donated, contributing precious “red drops” to give strength to patients to overcome their illnesses. The enthusiastic participation of Qui Phuc employees in the blood donation festival is a clear demonstration of the solidarity and spirit of social responsibility, joining hands for the community of the company.
Qui Phuc is one of the pioneers in sponsoring and accompanying the Red Journey program since 2017 and has maintained it until now. Not only is it the main sponsor of the program, Qui Phuc also builds a culture of sharing for the community through annual blood donation festivals in the city as well as other provinces.
In addition to blood donation, Qui Phuc is also a companion of meaningful and humane community social programs such as the program Where Love Stays, Spring Love, Entrepreneurs for the Community Fund; caring for and helping people in difficult circumstances; supporting and mobilizing donations for disaster and flood relief... With its positive contributions, Qui Phuc was honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities for its many outstanding achievements in charity work - social security and the voluntary blood donation movement...
Mr. Tran Thai Nguyen - Deputy General Director of Qui Phuc shared: "We believe that every drop of blood donated is a life left behind. Participating in blood donation is not only a social responsibility but also a source of pride for every Qui Phuc employee. We will continue to accompany the Red Journey and other community programs, joining hands for a healthier and more humane society."
