Binh Thuan - Ta Nang - Phan Dung is known as one of the most beautiful trekking routes in Vietnam, attracting young people who want to challenge their limits.
The starting point of the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking route is usually in Ta Nang commune, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province. And the end point is the edge of the forest in Phan Dung commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan. The 55 km long route will cross 3 provinces of Lam Dong - Ninh Thuan - Binh Thuan and usually takes about 2 days and 1 night to complete. Tourists will start their journey from the edge of Ta Nang forest with fairly flat terrain and green grasslands. After a long journey, visitors will reach the Ta Nang - Phan Dung peak at 1,160m and the milestone of the three provinces at 1,701m. At the end of a day of climbing, the trekking group will stop to camp, have dinner and rest to regain strength for the remaining journey. The sunlight shines through the forest leaves, take a deep breath of the fresh air of the mountains and forests. Continuing the journey are downhill slopes and waterfalls that we carefully overcome together. Each season brings a different beauty. The green grass season usually lasts from May to October. The rains cool the entire hill, making it green with the fresh green color of fresh grass. The burnt grass season corresponds to the dry season lasting from February to June. Finally, I surpassed my limits, experiencing the feeling of releasing all the pressure outside the forest edge, without phone signal, without internet,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thuy An, a tourist participating in the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking. Photo: Duy Tuan The Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking route is 90% trails and roads with many turns, so trekkers should also pay attention to stick close to their teammates, not separate from the group and fully prepare their luggage for a safe trip. Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces also coordinate in exploiting tourism on this trekking route. Signs and warning signs have also been installed throughout the route. Photo: Duy Tuan
