1. Basic information and schedule
The parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, will officially take place on the morning of September 2 from 6:30 a.m. to about 10 a.m. at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi .
Before the big holiday, people can watch the grand rehearsals right at the square with the following schedule: 8pm on August 24th for practice, 8pm on August 27th for preliminary rehearsal, and 6:30am on August 30th for final rehearsal.
After passing the stage, the walking blocks will move to the end of Hung Vuong Street and split into 3 different routes (the foreign military block will not split into blocks).

2. "Survival" tips when watching a parade
To get a good spot to watch the parade, there is no other way than to go very early. Some people shared their experience from A50 that: You must go at least 12 hours in advance, that is, half a day before… If you go late, you will have no good spot, you will have to stand on the outside with a more limited view.
From 12:30 on August 24, Hanoi City Police completely banned all vehicles on many streets to serve the second A80 training session. People in the provinces should use public transport, if traveling during the road ban hours, they can take the train.
+ The first line of the train from Yen Nghia station to Cat Linh station, walk to Nguyen Thai Hoc - Kim Ma axis.
+ The second line takes the train from Nhon to Thu Le Park, approaching Kim Ma axis or Thong Nhat Park.
3. The “golden coordinates” to choose to see
According to Dan Tri reporters, there are many convenient locations for people to both watch the parade and take memorable check-in photos.

Among them, the Hung Vuong - Tran Phu intersection (near the stage) is considered the "diamond position", because from here you can fully observe the parades passing by.
On Nguyen Thai Hoc axis, the area around 143 towards Le Duan is where the groups start turning to move towards the assembly point; in particular, this is also the point where you can witness the international parade passing by.

In addition, at the Tran Phu - Nguyen Tri Phuong intersection (where the parade equipment is concentrated), you can witness Vietnam's military equipment.
The Cua Nam – Trang Thi – Tho Nhuom area is also highly appreciated for its large space and many high points to observe the whole scene when the parades pass through here.

The Hang Khay – Trang Tien route has a wide road surface, convenient for moving and taking pictures, while the August Revolution Square (in front of the Opera House) is where the delegations gather after passing the stage, creating opportunities for people to chat and capture moments with the soldiers.

Lieu Giai - Phan Ke Binh area is wide, airy, with good visibility (Photo: Bui Xon).
For those who want to find a more open space, the Kim Ma - Doi Can - Lieu Giai - Van Cao section is an ideal choice, with wide sidewalks and an overpass - the perfect viewing point to admire the entire formation.
