On the morning of April 18, the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month of the year of Giap Thin, at Luu Ly Pagoda, Mac Ha Village, Cong Ly Commune, Ly Nhan District, the pagoda festival was held. Thousands of Buddhists from all over the country came to the pagoda to worship Buddha, remembering the merits of the ancestors who built and maintained the pagoda, bringing a peaceful life to Buddhists and the people.
The festival is solemnly held with traditional, spiritual Buddhist rituals, such as preaching, worshiping ancestors and Buddha, releasing animals... Buddhists and people go to the pagoda to burn incense and worship Buddha, showing their respect and gratitude to the founder for his contributions to building the pagoda and wishing for peace, health and harmony in life and society.
Under the guidance of the temple, Buddhists performed spiritual rituals, chanted Buddhist sutras, listened to sermons on the significance of the Ancestors' Death Anniversary, arousing pride, patriotism, national unity, awareness of building peace, and protecting the Fatherland. The existence and development of Buddhism in Ly Nhan land throughout history has always been closely linked to cultural development, realizing the goal of religion accompanying the nation.
Luu Ly Pagoda is one of the religious and belief establishments in Ly Nhan district that has been and is continuing to promote the Buddhist tradition of "protecting the country and bringing peace to the people", taking humanitarian charity activities as the foundation for educating people with good hearts.
