On the morning of February 25, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Military Service Council of Ly Nhan District solemnly held the 2024 military enlistment ceremony. Comrade Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended, presented flowers, and encouraged the new recruits. Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Party Committee Office, a number of members of the Provincial Military Service Council, leaders of military units, local authorities, and people in the district.

In this year's military enlistment, Ly Nhan district was assigned the target of selecting 341 citizens to participate in military service and public security service, of which 295 citizens joined the army units and 46 citizens joined the police units.

The new recruits were assigned to the following military receiving units: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Protection Command, General Department of Defense Industry, Brigade 144/General Staff, Special Forces Brigade 113/Special Forces Corps, Brigade 513/Military Region 3, Regiment 102/Division 308/Corps 12, Battalion 16/Division 395/Military Region 3, Provincial Military Command, and Provincial Police.

The work of selecting and calling citizens to join the army in the district is carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring democracy, objectivity, fairness and compliance with the law, thanks to which all new recruits meet the requirements of political qualities, health and educational level.

To encourage and motivate young people to enthusiastically join the army, before the military enlistment ceremony, the People's Committee of Ly Nhan district successfully organized the "Military Enlistment Day"; at the same time, directed localities to visit, meet, and give gifts to encourage families and new soldiers to feel secure and excited to leave for the task of protecting the Fatherland.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of Ly Nhan district acknowledged and praised the military recruitment work of communes and towns, ensuring democracy, transparency, compliance with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and procedures and regulations in military recruitment. Thanks to that, the number of citizens enlisted this year met the standards of moral qualities and lifestyle, meeting the requirements of military units, gradually improving the quality of building a regular, elite, and modern armed force.

At the same time, he commended the enthusiasm and seriousness of the new recruits in obeying the military enlistment order and participating in the military enlistment festival in 2024. The leaders hoped that the new recruits would uphold the traditions of their homeland, constantly cultivate, train, build a strong political stance, overcome all difficulties, be determined to strive to study and train, be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks, contribute to upholding the traditions of their homeland, and actively participate in building and firmly defending the Fatherland.

After the drum beating and fire-lighting ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua and delegates presented flowers, encouraged and congratulated the new recruits on their confident departure to fulfill their duties, proudly following in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers.
