The Quang Ngai Provincial Museum is preserving two printing plates of 1-dong and 50-dong bills. Earlier this year, these printing plates were recognized as national treasures by the Prime Minister.

According to the Quang Ngai Provincial Museum, the treasury bill printing mold is the only unique treasure related to the relic site of the treasury bill printing workshop of Inter-zone V.

This site is located in Son Ha district (Quang Ngai) and was ranked as a national monument in 2021. Currently, these two printing blocks are on display at the Quang Ngai Provincial Museum.

The back of the coin is printed with the image of a farmer and two buffaloes plowing the field in the middle, and the words "one dong" in the upper right corner... On the left of the coin is printed a stylized round flower, inside is the denomination of the number "1" and the symbol "$" (dong) in a circular frame.

On the top edge are the words "Democratic Republic of Vietnam", below are the words "fifty dong". On the right side are the words "Representative of the Central Government", below is the signature of the late Prime Minister Pham Van Dong.

The two credit card printing plates have a unique form, demonstrating the designer's creativity, with sharp lines and patterns, balanced in size ratio.

This design shows national character, affirming the independence of a nation in the resistance war against French colonial invasion.

On the printing plate of the promissory note is a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, the national name of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the signatures of comrades Pham Van Dong, Nguyen Duy Trinh...

"Each artifact and collection of national treasures in Quang Ngai affirms the cultural quintessence and historical value of Quang Ngai land. In the coming time, the provincial museum will continue to do a good job of managing, protecting, preserving, introducing and promoting the value of treasures to the public and tourists," Mr. Nghia shared.
