Mr. Duc emotionally shared on the day the team and academy were renamed LPBank HAGL
On November 6, HAGL Club sent a document to VFF requesting to change the name of the team and academy to LPBank HAGL, in accordance with the comprehensive cooperation agreement between HAGL Group and Lien Viet Post Bank.
Previously on November 3, Mr. Duc had shared very sincerely on the day of signing the comprehensive cooperation agreement, saying "I am 62 years old this year, 10 years from now I will be 72 years old, perhaps few bosses at that age still have the same passion as me. I have thought very carefully, looking for a partner who has the same interests, passion for football and especially a lot of money to share so that HAGL Club can exist forever. I am very happy that HAGL Club has found a companion with a strong and sustainable financial foundation like LPBank".
By the afternoon of November 10, VFF had responded, citing item a, clause 1, article 8, when the new name of the football team is not a proper name or a business name associated with the locality, and item 2, article 8, the name of the club cannot include the name or logo of a third party, whether it is a commercial partner or sponsor of the club.

At the same time, VFF believes that the club's request to change its name while the season is in progress violates Clause 4, Article 8 of the Professional Football Regulations.
However, VFF has "given tips" to HAGL to solve the problem, while still complying with current regulations. In its document, VFF also has instructions on granting an exception license so that HAGL Club can fulfill its desire to change its name to LPBank HAGL.
"We have received an official dispatch from VFF. In addition to the spirit of limiting name changes to preserve identity, VFF also has exceptional instructions for special cases. HAGL Club will soon complete the documents to follow this request and send them back to VFF," a leader of HAGL Club shared.
Thus, it can be seen that VFF has responded to HAGL Club's request with clearly defined regulations, and at the same time has instructions so that the mountain town football team can flexibly complete the application according to the exceptional licensing case.
HAGL will have the opportunity to compete for the championship with a new sponsor
According to the comprehensive cooperation agreement between Mr. Duc and Lien Viet Post Bank, his team and academy will change their name to LPBank HAGL, promising to help this team with fans across the country have a strong push to develop further, soon returning to the championship race as Mr. Duc wishes.

Since investing in football in 2001, Mr. Duc has been known and respected for his strong passion and "bitter" spirit for the national flag and colors to make sure that Vietnamese football is no longer afraid of Thailand...
He is famous for being a man of his word, and after 22 years has invested more than 2,000 billion VND in HAGL Club and HAGL Academy. The association with a sponsor can be seen as a positive signal for the sustainable development of the mountain town football team.
