On the morning of July 22, in La Lay and Huong Phung communes, Quang Tri province, a tornado caused at least one house to collapse and 23 houses to have their roofs blown off.

Currently, the Border Guard, Commune Police, and local authorities have moved people whose houses collapsed to new homes. 23 houses with blown-off roofs were quickly repaired by authorities.

In addition, heavy rains caused by storm No. 3 also caused some areas of fish ponds of people in Huong Phung commune to be washed away. Some embankments of inter-village roads in Thuong Trach commune were eroded and broken.
