Granting rights to use sea area for Duyen Hai Wind Power Plant project

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision to grant the right to use the sea area to Duyen Hai Wind Power Joint Stock Company, to implement the investment project "Duyen Hai Wind Power Plant" (in Dong Hai commune). The total area of the sea area allowed to be used is 226.53 hectares, including 108.85 hectares to continue using after returning a part and 117.68 hectares to be additionally assigned.

The Company is allowed to use appropriate means, equipment and activities, ensuring compliance with regulations during the project construction process. The term of the right to use is calculated from the effective date of the decision until June 8, 2067.

During operations, the unit must not conduct activities that affect national defense, security, sovereignty , sovereign rights, jurisdiction and national interests at sea; must not pollute or destroy the marine environment or marine ecosystem; must not affect or obstruct traffic activities at sea; must be responsible for protecting the marine environment;...
