From 3:00 p.m. today, June 6, the prices of all types of gasoline and oil have decreased, bringing the price of gasoline to nearly 21,000 VND/liter.

Specifically, the price of RON92 gasoline decreased by 618 VND/liter compared to the current base price, not higher than 21,141 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 542 VND/liter, not higher than 21,977 VND/liter.

Prices of various types of oil also decreased. Diesel oil price decreased by 325 VND/liter, not higher than 19,422 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 374 VND/liter, not higher than 19,557 VND/liter. Fuel oil price decreased by 253 VND/kg, not higher than 17,285 VND/kg.

Similar to the previous management period, today the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance continues to not set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for all products.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this management period (from May 30 to June 5) is affected by factors such as: US crude oil inventories increase, OPEC+ may increase crude oil supply in the fourth quarter, military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues...

The above factors have caused world oil prices in recent days to fluctuate between increases and decreases depending on the product, but the main trend is downward.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the two price management periods is: 85.366 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline (down 3.830 USD/barrel); 90.098 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (down 2.832 USD/barrel); 93.672 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 2.134 USD/barrel); 93.490 USD/barrel of diesel oil (down 1.842 USD/barrel); 506.712 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 8.908 USD/ton).

In the most recent adjustment period, on May 30, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by VND518/liter, not higher than VND21,759/liter; the price of RON95 gasoline decreased by VND694/liter, not higher than VND22,519/liter.

Meanwhile, oil prices increased or decreased depending on the type. Specifically, diesel prices decreased by 90 VND/liter, not higher than 19,747 VND/liter. Kerosene prices increased by 29 VND/liter, not higher than 19,931 VND/liter and fuel oil prices increased by 25 VND/kg, not higher than 17,538 VND/kg.
