Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 5,700 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,900 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 5,900 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates between 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, the market is quiet, most traders wait until the holiday is over to resume trading.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently IR 504 raw rice fluctuates at 8,050 - 8,250 VND/kg; CL 555 raw rice fluctuates at 8,400 - 8,700 VND/kg; OM 18 raw rice fluctuates at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; OM 380 raw rice fluctuates at 7,700 - 7,850; 5451 raw rice fluctuates at 9,600 - 9,750 VND/kg; OM 380 finished rice fluctuates at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice fluctuates at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the price of by-products ranges from 7,150 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 2 ranges from 7,150 - 7,250 VND/kg; bran price ranges from 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

It is noted that in localities today, many warehouses are closed for the holiday, the market is quiet, most customers have stopped grinding, warehouses are waiting until after the holiday to buy and sell again.

At retail markets, the prices of all types of rice remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 395 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 323 USD/ton.
