Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently, raw rice IR 504 increased by 150 VND/kg, fluctuating at 8,200 - 8,250 VND/kg; raw rice CL 555 increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 8,600 - 8,800 VND/kg; raw rice OM 18 fluctuated at 10,200 - 10,400 VND/kg; raw rice OM 380 fluctuated at 7,700 - 7,850 VND/kg; raw rice 5451 fluctuated at 9,600 - 9,750 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuated at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

For by-products, the price of by-products fluctuates from 7,150 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 2 has increased by 100 VND/kg, fluctuating at 7,150 - 7,250 VND/kg; the price of bran fluctuates at 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, supply is low, prices are stable, buying and selling transactions are slow. In An Giang, rice transactions are slow, good goods keep prices, warehouses buy sporadically. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), due to low quantity, prices of all types of rice are stable.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), small quantity, large warehouses buy good quality rice, stable price. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), small quantity, slow transaction, stable price.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds are stable compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND13,000 - 15,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND16,000 - 18,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND16,000/kg; Soc rice often fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 20,000/kg; Soc Thai rice 20,000/kg; Japanese rice 22,000/kg.

Similar to rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, the current price of OM 5451 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,400 - 6,600 VND/kg; the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 5,700 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 18 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,800 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 6,900 - 7,000 VND/kg; the price of OM 380 rice (fresh) fluctuates between 5,900 - 6,000 VND/kg; the price of Nang Hoa 9 rice fluctuates between 6,650 - 6,750 VND/kg.

In many localities today, dry rice of all kinds is being traded slowly; farmers are offering to sell early Summer-Autumn rice, prices are relatively stable. In An Giang, early Summer-Autumn rice is being sold slowly, farmers are offering high prices, and demand is slow.

In Kien Giang, summer-autumn rice prices are stable, but trading is slow. In Long An, farmers keep prices high, traders ask for purchases slowly, mainly buying rice that has been deposited, so prices are stable.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to the end of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 395 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 368 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 323 USD/ton.
