Today, February 21, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong signed and issued a decision to allocate the 2024 economic expenditure budget, allocating VND 9,799 billion to units and localities to implement policies to support the development of a number of crops and livestock to create key products with competitive advantages in the province in 2024 according to Resolution No. 162/2021/NQ-HDND of the province, dated December 9, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council.

Accordingly, Hai Lang district was allocated 596 million VND; Trieu Phong district over 1.19 billion VND; Gio Linh district 997 million VND; Vinh Linh district over 1.265 billion VND; Cam Lo district 556 million VND; Dakrong district over 992 million VND; Huong Hoa district nearly 1.5 billion VND; Quang Tri town 75 million VND; Department of Industry and Trade 400 million VND; Department of Rural Development 640 million VND; Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection 430 million VND; Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Fishery Product Quality Management 590 million VND; Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion 500 million VND and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development 70 million VND.

It is known that according to Resolution No. 162/2021/NQ-HDND of the province, every year the provincial budget balances and allocates at least 17 billion VND to implement policies to support the development of a number of crops and livestock to create key products with competitive advantages in the province.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities shall balance and allocate the district-level budget at the rate of 70% from the provincial budget and 30% from the district budget to implement the policy to ensure the set goals. Mobilize and integrate capital sources from national target programs; domestic and foreign investment programs and projects; and contributions from organizations and individuals to effectively implement this policy.
