On the morning of August 23, Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision of the Central Party Secretariat on personnel work.

At the conference, the representative of the Central Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Secretariat on comrade Tran Hong Thai, member of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, to cease holding the position of member of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; to transfer and appoint him to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Presenting the decision and congratulating comrade Tran Hong Thai on his new responsibility, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Phan Thang An said that comrade Tran Hong Thai is a well-trained cadre, with academic titles and degrees of professor and doctor; member of the Central Theoretical Council for the 2021-2026 term.

During his work, he always demonstrated a strong political stance, quickness and sensitivity in leadership and management, and a high sense of responsibility for his work; always maintained solidarity and unity in the agencies and units he worked for; had the capacity to concretize and effectively organize the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and policies. Regardless of his position, he always fulfilled his assigned tasks well and received many awards.

The Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee believes that in his new position, Comrade Tran Hong Thai will continue to promote his qualities, intelligence, experience, and working capacity, strive to excellently complete the assigned tasks; always promote democracy, maintain solidarity and unity, together with the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee and the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to consider and decide on important issues of the province.

Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Deputy Secretary Tran Hong Thai delivered a speech accepting the assignment.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Tran Hong Thai affirmed that with the assigned responsibility, he will try his best, wholeheartedly, and quickly approach the new task, inheriting the achievements in Lam Dong's socio-economic development in recent years.

“Based on the achievements of Lam Dong province, I pledge to use all my ability, intelligence, enthusiasm and working experience, join hands with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to build for the development of our province, for the prosperity and happiness of the people of Lam Dong”, said comrade Tran Hong Thai.

Speaking at the conference, Acting Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thai Hoc thanked the Central Party Secretariat and the Central Organizing Committee for taking care of perfecting the leadership team of Lam Dong province, especially the key leaders of the province.
