Attending the congress were former President Nguyen Minh Triet; Comrade Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Duong province; Comrade Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; leaders of Binh Duong province through the periods; and 315 delegates representing the great national unity bloc of Binh Duong province.

During the 2019-2024 term, under the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels and the facilitation of authorities at all levels, the Fatherland Front at all levels in Binh Duong has promoted its role well and performed its tasks effectively. Propaganda work has been comprehensively deployed, with many innovations and richness in operating methods, enhancing information and propaganda on applications such as Zalo, Fanpage, Facebook... and through the activities of reporters, propagandists, and Front officials.

The work of grasping and reflecting the situation, thoughts and aspirations of all classes of people in a timely, complete and comprehensive manner; the role of the Front as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people continues to be promoted. The work of caring for social security has been strengthened by the Fatherland Front at all levels, mobilizing maximum resources to contribute to support social security work, promptly and fully caring for policies and regimes for people with meritorious services, social subjects, the poor, children in special circumstances and workers in the province...

In the coming term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Duong province will continue to promote its role as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people; improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; continue to launch and improve the quality and effectiveness of campaigns and patriotic emulation movements among the people; strengthen the building of the organizational apparatus and the team of front cadres to meet the requirements of the new situation...

The Congress conducted consultations to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, term X, 2024-2029, consisting of 95 comrades. At the first conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, term X, consulted to elect a Standing Committee of 7 comrades; Comrade Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, term IX, was consulted to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, term X, 2024-2029.

Speaking at the congress, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Truong Thi Ngoc Anh hoped that the members of the Committee and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province in the new term would continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, actively promote the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm to contribute to the work of the Front and perform well the assigned tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the socio-economic development task of Binh Duong province.

Comrade Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Duong province, highly appreciated the results achieved in the work of the Front during the past term as very important and encouraging.

At the same time, it is recommended that the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province continue to build and strengthen the great national unity bloc, widely gather all classes of people, ensure high unity in ideology and action, strive to successfully implement the goal of building a modern, smart and humane Binh Duong city; focusing on mobilizing the combined strength to successfully implement the Binh Duong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister.

The Secretary of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee also requested that local Party committees and authorities at all levels thoroughly grasp the Party's viewpoints, policies and guiding ideology on the work of the Front and promote the strength of the great solidarity bloc in the new situation; pay special attention to the work of cadres, improve the quality of cadres doing Front work with capacity, qualifications, dynamism, creativity, enthusiasm, responsibility, love for the work of the Front and must be truly attached to the people's lives "Respecting the people, being close to the people, understanding the people, learning from the people, being responsible to the people".

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province for its outstanding achievements in the Front's work for the 2019-2024 term.
