Lac Hong University Robocon team set out to participate in ABU Robocon competition

The LH UDS (Unstoppable Dream Shot) team, consisting of 15 members, under the guidance of lecturer Nguyen Dinh Dai, will participate in the ABU Robocon 2025, taking place on August 24 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This is the team that won the championship of the Vietnam Robocon this year.

The final round of the ABU Robocon 2025 Competition has 14 teams from 13 countries and territories participating.

This year's competition theme is Basketball Warriors - a very new competitive theme that requires smart tactics from the start. The team has thoroughly studied the rules of the game and stuck to their original playstyle, which is to prioritize focusing on the robot's ability to press and defend tightly so that the opposing team has no chance to score.

After 8 months of practicing and perfecting the robot with very strict intensity and high discipline, the LH UDS team is determined to win the championship of this year's ABU Robocon Competition.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice Principal of Lac Hong University, said: The school has participated in the Robocon competition in Vietnam 21 times. Of which, 10 times won the championship, representing Vietnam to participate in ABU Robocon. As a result, there were 3 championships, 3 second prizes and 3 third prizes in this playground.

Vice President of Lac Hong University hopes that the LH UDS team will inherit the achievements of previous teams and confidently win this competition. At the same time, through the competition, students will learn more knowledge and skills to improve themselves, thereby meeting future job requirements.

After the departure ceremony, the delegation offered incense at Tran Bien Temple of Literature and Nguyen Huu Canh Temple.
