After more than a week of exciting competition, the Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Football Tournament within the framework of the "Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Sports Festival" concluded on the morning of July 9 at Tao Dan Stadium. The Ho Chi Minh City Journalists Association Football Tournament - Thai Son Nam Cup 2025 with the participation of 16 teams (including 4 women's teams), was held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Competing for third place, the Saigon Liberation Newspaper women's team won in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw with SCTV in regulation time.

Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper participates in all contents of the Sports Festival for Ho Chi Minh City Journalists 2025

The organizers awarded prizes to outstanding teams and individuals right after the men's football final. In addition to the overall titles, player Minh Thao (SCTV) was honored as "Football Beauty Queen". Striker Bach Thi Ha ( Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper) received the "Top Scorer Queen" award with 7 goals. The best goalkeeper of the tournament was Nguyen Phuong Thao (Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper) .

In the men's tournament, the Golden Boot award went to striker Le Viet Hang (VOH, 10 goals) while Vuong Thanh Binh (HTV) received the Best Goalkeeper award.
