1,000 new college students carry out a series of meaningful programs

On August 22, Foreign Trade College of Technology, Vietnam College of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology and Foreign Trade College jointly organized a series of gratitude activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The program attracted nearly 1,000 new students to participate.

1,000 new students from 3 colleges in Da Nang offer incense at the city's Martyrs' Monument

Accordingly, the delegation offered incense at the Da Nang City Martyrs Memorial, commemorating heroic martyrs; and burned incense to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap at the Ho Chi Minh Museum.

The above activities show deep gratitude to the leader, and at the same time affirm the determination to follow the revolutionary path that the Party, Uncle Ho and generations of fathers and brothers have chosen.

Notably, at the Hoang Sa Museum, the delegation held a ceremony to attach a plaque and plant a banyan tree - the symbolic tree of Truong Sa, with the meaning of affirming the sovereignty of the sea and islands, while visually educating the younger generation about the responsibility to protect the integrity of the national territory.

Leaders of Hospital 199 and Principal of Vietnam College of Medical Technology performed the White Blouse Awarding Ceremony for students

In addition, staff, lecturers and students also visited the Hoang Sa Exhibition House, which preserves many documents, maps and artifacts affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos, thereby raising awareness, fostering love for the homeland and national pride.

Representatives of the three schools said that this series of activities is both an opportunity to pay tribute to history and a vivid lesson about revolutionary ideals, contributing to educating the younger generation about patriotism and responsibility to protect the Fatherland.

On this occasion, more than 250 students of the 20th course of Vietnam College of Medical Technology also attended the Extracurricular Citizenship Activity program at Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security.

New students participated in in-depth career guidance and listened to experience sharing from experts who are doctors working at Hospital 199 - Ministry of Public Security.

Also at the program, representatives of Kohi Vietnam Education Joint Stock Company awarded 50 scholarships worth 50 million VND to 50 students in difficult circumstances.
