At the meeting, after listening to National Assembly Deputy Mai Van Hai, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, suggesting content for comments on the draft Law on Social Insurance (amended), voters of the Provincial Social Insurance highly agreed that the implementation of the Ordinance on the Law on Social Insurance has revealed a number of shortcomings and limitations, therefore, the development of the Law on Social Insurance is necessary to create a synchronous and unified legal basis, meeting and completing tasks well in the new situation.

Voters of the provincial Social Insurance also recommended that there should be additional support policies for the poor to participate in voluntary insurance; that people should be encouraged to understand the meaning and value of participating in voluntary insurance, and not have to wait until they get sick to participate in insurance; regarding funeral allowances, it is recommended that the draft Law should have clearer and more specific regulations to confirm the subject responsible for the funeral, in cases where it is not a relative.

Voters propose that the Government regulate the determination of conditions for receiving one-time social insurance (within 12 months) in cases where employees find a job and sign a labor contract after the Social Insurance agency has issued a decision to receive one-time social insurance and must pay social insurance in the month of starting to participate in social insurance according to the provisions of the law on social insurance.

However, the Social Insurance Law is an important law, related to the rights of all workers and many families, so this Law receives great attention from the whole society. Therefore, the opinions and recommendations of those who are directly working in social insurance in the province will help the Provincial National Assembly Delegation have more information and better understand the activities of the industry so that delegates have the opportunity to discuss in the hall as well as click on documents related to the Social Insurance Law.
