On the morning of April 25, the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province coordinated with the Provincial Police to organize a conference to collect opinions on 5 draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security to be submitted to the 15th National Assembly at the 9th Session.

Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, Deputy Head of the Delegation, in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Conference delegates

As planned, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly will take place from May 5, 2025 to June 28, 2025. At the session, the National Assembly will pass 5 laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security, including: Extradition Law; Law on Transfer of Persons Serving Prison Sentences; Law on Protection of Personal Data; Penal Code (amended) and Law on Organization of Criminal Investigation Agencies (amended).

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, Deputy Head of the Delegation, in charge of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province, spoke.

These are draft laws of very important political and legal significance, creating a solid foundation and basis to help the People's Public Security force be proactive in advising the Party and State on policies and strategies on security and order, effectively implementing tasks and strategic solutions to protect national security, ensure social order and safety, and build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Xuan - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, member of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation gave comments.

At the conference, delegates agreed on the necessity of issuing five draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security, and proposed to supplement and amend some contents to suit the practical work of ensuring security and order of the People's Public Security force as well as coordination with relevant departments and branches.

In addition, some comments assessed that the draft covers the impacts of the policy in the current practical situation and the following years. The contents of the 5 draft laws have institutionalized the guiding viewpoints of the Party and State on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, in accordance with the new structure and organization of the 3-level government and the name after implementing the merger plan...

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, Deputy Head of the Delegation, in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highly appreciated the spirit of research and contribution of the delegates. The delegation would like to receive all the delegates' contributions, synthesize and report to the Ministry of Public Security as a basis for completing 5 draft laws, reporting to the Government for approval at the 9th Session, 15th National Assembly.
