Investing 6 billion VND to build a district-level broadcasting system using smart IP technology

According to the Department of Information and Communications, in 2023, the unit invested, installed and put into use a district-level broadcasting system using smart IP technology for 7 districts in the province including: Hai Lang, Trieu Phong, Gio Linh, Vinh Linh, Cam Lo, Dakrong and Huong Hoa with a total cost of 6 billion VND.

The invested items include loudspeaker clusters, broadcasting software management computers, control software, microphones, and sound mixers. The advantage of this system is that it uses software and installs applications simultaneously on both IOS and Android operating systems. Each station is given accounts to log in, manage, monitor, and operate according to hierarchy; control, monitor, and broadcast remotely via smartphone flexibly, anytime, anywhere.

The project is invested with the goal of developing a grassroots broadcasting network to shorten the distance, promote the need for information and propaganda between regions and areas in Quang Tri province. At the same time, it contributes to the effective implementation of Decision No. 135/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on improving the efficiency of grassroots information activities based on the application of information technology as well as the digital transformation of Quang Tri province.

It is known that in 2022, Quang Tri province also invested nearly 3 billion VND to install and put into use a district-level broadcasting system using smart IP technology in Dong Ha city, Quang Tri town and Con Co island district.
