Previously, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department informed that this unit has 2 locations to receive documents and issue and renew driving licenses, including: Facility 1 at 2 Phung Hung Street (Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District) and Facility 2 at 253 Nguyen Duc Thuan Street (Trau Quy Town, Gia Lam District).

On March 21, the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) informed that the Traffic Police worked with professional units of the Ministry of Public Security and the National Public Service Portal to enhance the capacity to receive and process applications for driver's license renewal.
Accordingly, the functional unit has increased the number of records that can be processed per day from 3,000 records (currently) to 10,000 records in the coming time.
Authorities recommend that people should apply for and renew their driving licenses online to reduce travel time and process procedures quickly.
With this form, people who need to issue or change a driver's license access the National Public Service Portal, then select the "Change driver's license" service and follow the steps.
