On the afternoon of June 28, the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province held a press conference to inform the press about the 2024 high school graduation exam. This time, no candidates or invigilators violated exam regulations.
However, regarding the blurred math exam part, Mr. Pham Dang Khoa - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province said that this is regrettable.
In some test codes, many questions were printed blurred due to printing techniques. After discovering this, the supervisor reported this incident to the head of the test site. The head of the test site applied current regulations to decide to use backup test papers instead for the candidates. The head of the test site calculated the time to compensate for the number of minutes spent on the test for the candidates, ensuring their rights.
According to Mr. Khoa, at some examination sites, the handling of the above situation was still limited and not timely, so dozens of candidates were affected. This was an unexpected incident, so the Provincial Examination Council reported to the National Examination Steering Committee for direction.
After that, the National Examination Steering Committee directed a careful review to see which students were affected in order to continue to have a solution, to ensure the rights of the candidates.
Regarding the reflection of some reporters about the math exam being revoked, the head of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province said that he will continue to verify and respond later.
