This school has 3 levels: primary, secondary and high school, under AIS American International Education Joint Stock Company (220 Nguyen Van Tao, Long Thoi Commune, Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City).
According to the investigation, stemming from a dispute over school activities, at the end of March, Ms. Em and a number of people went to the school gate to cause trouble and vandalism. The incident affected public order and security and social safety.
Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Inspectorate also conducted an inspection and transferred the case file to the investigation agency to clarify signs of illegal capital mobilization by the above company, through loan and education investment contracts that this unit signed with parents of students.
The incident started in 2023, when many parents gathered to demand debt from the American International School Vietnam. They claimed that the school had borrowed tens of billions of dong without interest, without collateral, through loan and investment contracts. In return, the lender's children would study for free and promised to pay back after the students graduated or transferred schools. However, the people did not receive their money back.
