Authorized by the President, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Thi Le awarded the First Class Labor Medal by the President to Ho Chi Minh City Television for its outstanding achievements in propaganda in the fields of politics, economics, culture and social security work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

Also at the program, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy presented the Government's Emulation Flag to Ho Chi Minh City Television for its outstanding achievements in leading the 2024 Patriotic Emulation movement of Ho Chi Minh City.

On this occasion, 40 individuals of Ho Chi Minh City Television also received Certificates of Merit from Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in work.

Also on May 1, Ho Chi Minh City Television organized a special art exchange program with the theme "A lifetime, a forest" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first broadcast (1975 - 2025).

The program is a solemn tribute to the generations who have contributed to the construction and development of Ho Chi Minh City Television over the past half century.

Through stories, memories and emotions, the program inspires pride and motivates HTV to continue to develop and maintain its role as a bridge connecting the past - present - future.

Artists participating in the program include: People's Artist Ta Minh Tam, People's Artist Ho Ngoc Trinh, singer Hong Hanh, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, artist Le Hoang Nghi (Chuong Vang Vong Co 2024)... along with many singing and dancing groups that have been associated with HTV for many years.
