In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Fisheries Control Team 2 led the unit to successfully and excellently complete 8/8 groups of contents and targets set out. The unit seriously implemented resolutions and directives from superiors, promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, overcame difficulties, and comprehensively completed the tasks.

The team mobilized more than 700 ships to participate in carrying out missions at sea with nearly 850,000 nautical miles of absolute safety. Well organized mass mobilization, propaganda, dissemination, legal education, rescue, and first aid for fishermen. Ships at sea rescued 27 boats in distress, 433 fishermen, and distributed 3,000 national flags to fishing boats.

The internal unity and democracy of the unit, the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization are constantly improving. In recognition of the achievements, the Team and a ship unit were honored to receive the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal from the President; another ship unit was awarded a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister. For many consecutive years, the Team has achieved the title of "clean, strong", a "comprehensively strong, exemplary, typical" unit.

The Congress set out 6 main targets for the 2025-2030 term, emphasizing the need to ensure that 100% of agencies and units strictly comply with regulations on duty and maintain absolute safety in all aspects. The Congress set a target of 100% of Party committees, Party cells, Party organizations, cadres and Party members completing their tasks, of which more than 90% will complete them well and excellently.

Improve the quality of patrolling, controlling and enforcing the law at sea; promote political and ideological education, disseminate laws, strengthen discipline and regularity; implement digital transformation, administrative reform, and improve the operational efficiency of units.

The Party Executive Committee of Fisheries Control Team No. 2 for the 2025-2030 term was introduced to the congress.

Promoting the spirit of democracy, the Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of the Branch for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 15 comrades with a high number of votes of confidence, and elected a delegation to attend the higher-level Congress, consisting of 4 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate. At the first Executive Committee meeting, the Party Executive Committee elected the Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee.

The 3rd Congress of Fisheries Control Team No. 2, term 2025-2030, took place successfully, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and determination to excellently complete tasks in the new period.
