The baby had a rash with itchy pimples all over his body, making it impossible for him to sleep; conjunctivitis caused vision loss, and the membranes could not open his eyes. The swelling and ulcers in his mouth prevented him from eating and drinking, and he had to be fed porridge and milk through a nasogastric tube six times a day. The ulcers in his nasal cavity made it difficult for him to breathe because the ulcer fluid dried up. The baby's lips and eyes stuck together, making it difficult to clean.
