In recent years, the Ministry of Transport has issued many directive documents to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of safety in construction; strengthen management to ensure construction quality, construction safety, traffic safety, labor safety and environmental sanitation in transport projects and works.

However, in some projects, there are still defects in construction quality, causing work accidents that damage some construction items and cause casualties to workers at the construction site.

Recently, a number of serious occupational safety incidents have occurred nationwide related to construction activities, causing great loss of life and property, leaving long-term consequences for families and society.

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction, promptly overcoming the consequences and taking measures to prevent similar accidents, the Ministry of Transport requires units to strengthen inspections combined with propaganda and guidance on the implementation of legal regulations and technical standards on safety in construction activities.

Units need to control the quality of materials, components, construction products, and equipment installed in the project according to design requirements and technical instructions, especially for machinery and equipment with strict requirements on labor safety used in construction must be inspected for technical safety.

"Resolutely stop construction if violations of labor safety regulations are detected that pose a risk of causing unsafety at construction sites; strictly handle violations according to the law," the Ministry of Transport emphasized.

For entities participating in traffic construction activities, the Ministry of Transport requires the completion of the construction safety management system to ensure sufficient capacity according to regulations; stipulates the responsibility for construction safety for each department, team, and individuals in charge of management, direct construction and production.

In addition to promoting propaganda, units must also review regulations, procedures, and construction safety measures; Strengthen self-inspection and supervision of the implementation of legal regulations on construction safety at the unit to proactively control and prevent dangerous factors and prevent risks of occupational accidents at construction sites and projects .
