After the Lunar New Year holiday, Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited has exported and supplied 18 million white-leg shrimp seeds to serve the commercial farming needs of the people. Most of the orders come from Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, and Quang Ninh.

Mr. Le Van Hung, Hoang Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, said: I just ordered 1.4 million white-leg shrimp seeds from Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited on February 13 and have been raising them for exactly 1 week today. I have been raising commercial shrimp for 10 years now and have also bought seeds from Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited for 5 years.

To have batches of shrimp seeds to serve the commercial farming needs of customers in the first days of the year, the technical team of Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited worked throughout Tet and was present at the Company to supervise the production process as well as the quality of the seeds before releasing them to the market.

Mr. Pham Van Lich, Technical Manager of Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited, said: Producing a batch of shrimp seeds   As of now, the process takes place within 20 days, so from January 1, 2025, the Company has focused on production again to meet the source of raw shrimp seeds at the beginning of the year for businesses and farming households from the North and North Central regions. From the beginning of February until now, the orders have been continuously connected by the Sales Department and we have also arranged to ensure the process as well as the quality of the supplied shrimp seeds. Of which, the amount of shrimp seeds exported to the Thanh Hoa market is 3.2 million seeds, the market in the province is 6.9 million seeds, the rest is the Hai Phong market.

To meet the demand for winter shrimp farming, Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited continues to maintain and effectively organize the production of cold-resistant shrimp to meet the needs of the people. According to the plan and orders, in the first quarter of 2025, the Company strives to produce 122 million white-leg shrimp for sale, of which customers order to export to the market in the province and the provinces of Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Ninh Binh.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, CEO of Viet Uc Quang Ninh Co., Ltd. added: Last year, despite the impact of storm No. 3, the Company proactively overcame and stabilized production activities at shrimp hatcheries as well as continued to focus on research to adapt to the changing environment and climate of the North. Like last year, joining hands to support farming households in the province that suffered damage due to storm No. 3, our Company also supported a 60-70% discount for shrimp farming facilities in the province.

Currently, the demand for white-leg shrimp seed supply of Viet Uc Quang Ninh Company Limited has reached 50% in the provincial market and 30-40% in the markets of the Northern and North Central provinces. In 2025, the Company is striving to produce 1.1 billion white-leg shrimp seeds, an increase of 10% compared to 2024 to serve the commercial shrimp farming needs of facilities as well as households.
