Mr. Dinh The Hung, Chairman of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union, said: Identifying May as the peak period for caring for union members and workers, since mid-March, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union has issued a plan and instructed grassroots unions to organize activities in response to Workers' Month and Occupational Safety and Health Month. The overarching goal is to focus on the grassroots, union members and workers, while strengthening ties with businesses, ensuring that union members can participate and enjoy practical benefits both materially and spiritually.
The key activities are oriented as follows: Organizing visits to union members in difficult circumstances, having work accidents; promoting dialogue and negotiation to sign collective labor agreements; implementing the "Union Meal" program; providing legal advice, especially disseminating the revised Law on Social Insurance (SI) and dialogue on SI policies; developing union members, establishing new grassroots unions; organizing commendations and rewards for outstanding union members and union officials and creating a healthy playground through exciting cultural and sports activities.
Up to now, 70% of grassroots trade unions in the Enterprise Sector have registered to organize activities in response to Workers' Month. Of which, 23 grassroots trade unions have developed plans to organize cultural and sports activities, organize tours and vacations for union members and workers, give gifts on the occasion of International Labor Day 1/5 and visit union members in difficult circumstances; 9 grassroots trade unions have registered to organize propaganda on labor safety laws, train first aid methods when labor accidents occur; in particular, 5 units have registered to organize the warm and sharing "Union Meal" program.
In addition, since the beginning of April, the grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union have recruited more than 300 new members. In the exciting atmosphere of Workers' Month, the Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union organized the Launching Ceremony of Workers' Month 2025 with meaningful activities. The Provincial Industrial Park Trade Union presented 150 gifts (each worth VND 500,000) to union members in difficult circumstances and those who unfortunately had work-related accidents, showing deep concern.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the “Workers’ Singing Contest” took place with the participation of 23 enterprise trade unions and 40 outstanding performances. On this occasion, the provincial Industrial Park Trade Union promoted the establishment of 1 grassroots trade union and recruited 60 new union members.
Currently, the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union is actively preparing for the next series of activities, including: Honoring and praising 82 outstanding union officials and union members, along with 21 excellent grassroots union groups; organizing dialogues and disseminating information on Social Insurance Policy for union officials, union members and workers; implementing training courses on initial first aid for occupational accidents, disseminating information on reproductive health and the harmful effects of tobacco at 9 enterprise grassroots unions, etc.
The grassroots trade unions, typically the grassroots trade union of MCNEX VINA Company Limited (Phuc Son Industrial Park, Hoa Lu city) have also been implementing many practical activities in response to Workers' Month.
Ms. Doan Thi Thu Giang, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of MCNEX VINA Company Limited, said: In response to Workers' Month, the Company's Trade Union is urgently preparing activities aimed at workers such as men's football tournament, women's football tournament, tug of war, women's volleyball tournament; art performance; "Ring the Golden Bell" playground with the theme of occupational safety and hygiene and updating the law; giving gifts to support cadres and workers in difficult circumstances; organizing practical propaganda sessions on caring for pregnant women and raising young children, the harmful effects of tobacco, traffic safety and first aid.
Along with that, we also launched a peak emulation campaign in labor production... Sharing the same spirit, many other grassroots trade unions in industrial parks have also launched meaningful activities for union members and workers during Workers' Month.

With exciting, practical and meaningful activities, this year's Workers' Month has truly become a widespread political activity, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of union members and workers in the province's industrial parks, while affirming the important role of trade unions in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
