Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc presented the decision to Mr. Dau Minh Thanh.

(PLVN) - The Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc has just announced Decision No. 2275-QD/DUK on appointing Mr. Dau Minh Thanh - Chairman of the Board of Members of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD) to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the HUD Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc presented the decision and congratulated the new Party Secretary Dau Minh Thanh.

In his speech assigning tasks, Mr. Nguyen Duc Phong believed that Mr. Dau Minh Thanh would continue to promote his capacity, experience, intelligence, gather and unite with the leadership of the Standing Committee and the Party Committee of HUD Corporation to successfully complete the tasks of Party building and political tasks in 2024 and the following years, especially leading the successful organization of Party congresses at all levels towards the Congress of Delegates of the Party Committee of the Corporation, term 2025 - 2030.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Dau Minh Thanh expressed his deep gratitude to the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for their trust, confidence, and assignment of tasks.

Mr. Thanh pledged to work with the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Party Committee of the Corporation and the officers, party members and employees of the Corporation to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, making maximum use of resources, striving to compete to excellently complete assigned tasks, and making achievements to welcome party congresses at all levels.

On November 15, Mr. Dau Minh Thanh was appointed as Chairman of HUD.

Previously - on November 15, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi presented the Decision appointing Mr. Dau Minh Thanh - former Chief of Office of this Ministry to hold the position of Chairman of HUD, replacing Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung who was appointed by the Prime Minister as Deputy Minister of Construction on September 11.

It is known that Mr. Thanh has many years of experience as a leader of units and enterprises in the Construction industry. He also held the position of Director of the Department of Enterprise Management (Ministry of Construction).
