Quang Tri Police visited and wished a happy new year to the police of the three provinces of Salavan, Champasak and Savannakhet.

From April 7 to 10, 2025, a working delegation of the Quang Tri Provincial Police led by the Director of the Provincial Police, Colonel Vu Van Dau, visited and extended New Year greetings to the police of the three provinces of Salavan, Champasak and Savannakhet (Laos) on the occasion of the traditional New Year Bun Pi May 2025 of the Lao ethnic people.

On this occasion, Colonel Vu Van Dau, on behalf of the working delegation, sent his deepest condolences to the police officers and soldiers of neighboring provinces on the passing of former President of the Lao PDR Khamtay Sivandone - the first generation leader of the Lao revolution.

At the same time, thank you for the warm, friendly and respectful reception of the Laotian provincial police for the delegation and send New Year wishes to the leaders, officers and soldiers of the Lao provincial police to celebrate the traditional New Year of the nation warmly and happily, and continue to fulfill the task of ensuring security and order in the area.

Colonel Vu Van Dau hopes that the police of other provinces will continue to closely and regularly coordinate with the Quang Tri police force in the fight against crime and maintaining security and order on the Vietnam - Laos border, contributing to the good implementation of the contents of the memorandum of understanding that has been agreed upon and signed annually between the police of the provinces and the Quang Tri Police.
