The donor was Mr. LTS, 36 years old, a brain-dead patient at Bach Mai Hospital (Hanoi). His heart was transferred to Hue Central Hospital for transplantation into a 39-year-old patient with severe heart failure. At the same time, his liver was transplanted into a patient with liver failure at 108 Military Central Hospital, and 2 kidneys were transplanted into 2 patients with end-stage renal failure at Bach Mai Hospital.
