
On the evening of August 10, the political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" - "National Concert", organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper and Hanoi People's Committee, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and National Day September 2, took place majestically and spectacularly at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi).

Attending the program were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Party Central Committee members, former Party Central Committee members; leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, diplomatic agencies, international organizations, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veterans, meritorious people, military and police units.
On the Hanoi side, the program was attended by Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong; representatives of departments, branches, organizations and a large number of people.


The political art program “Fatherland in the Heart” opened with the song “Marching Song” - the emotional and proud national anthem. More than 50,000 spectators at My Dinh National Stadium, dressed in red flags with yellow stars, turned towards the bright red national flag and sang in unison “The Vietnamese army marches on...” majestically and loudly.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, journalist Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, emphasized that the political art program "Fatherland in the Heart" taking place in the capital is not only a simple art program, but also a symphony of patriotism combining music, stage performances, complex art with the depth of history and inspiration of the times, and community emotions.
The program recreates heroic historical pages, honors the sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers, and conveys a message of national pride, great solidarity, and the aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people in the new era.

According to journalist Le Quoc Minh, from the V-shaped stage design symbolizing “Vietnam - Victory”, to sacred images such as the red flag with a yellow star fluttering, the army marching majestically and powerfully, or timeless slices recreating history... all were elaborately staged with the desire to evoke pride, connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts at home and abroad.
“We believe that music is the language of the soul, connecting generations, an effective way to tell the story of the country in a simple, sincere and profound way. The audience listens, feels and spreads love for the Fatherland through each polyphonic level, so that the Fatherland will always be in the heart of each of us and each heart will light a fire, resonate into a bright light, bringing the country firmly into a new era”, journalist Le Quoc Minh affirmed.

With three chapters "Shape of the Country", "Proud Melody", "Fatherland in the Heart" recreating the flow of 80 years of history through music, images and light, the audience was able to live, feel and engrave the two sacred words Fatherland.

The songs that have stood the test of time were elaborately and grandly staged and performed one after another, bringing many emotions to the audience. Some of the songs that can be mentioned are “August 19” (Xuan Oanh), “National Defense Corps” (Phan Huynh Dieu), “The Road We Go” (Huy Du, Xuan Sach), “My Village” (Van Cao), “On the Road” (Luu Huu Phuoc), “Parabelle Call” (Hoang Van), “The Road to the Front” (Tien Minh), “Mother Loves Child” (Nguyen Van Ty), “Song of Hope” (Van Ky), “Aspiration” (Pham Minh Tuan), “Hue - Saigon - Hanoi” (Trinh Cong Son), “Five Brothers on a Tank” (Doan Nho, Huu Thinh), “Marching to Saigon” (Luu Huu Phuoc), “The Country is Full of Joy” (Hoang Ha), “Proud Melody” (Pham Hong Bien), “Uncle Ho, You Give Me Everything” (Hoang Long, Hoang Lan), “Vietnam Homeland” (Anh Khang), “Aspirations of Youth” (Vu Hoang), “Continuing the story of peace” (Nguyen Van Chung), “As if Uncle Ho were there on the day of great victory” (Pham Tuyen)…

The part that especially impressed the audience was the appearance of the parade, with the background music "Marching under the flag" (Doan Nho) of 68 soldiers of the Army Officer School 1 - the soldiers who represented the Vietnamese armed forces to participate in the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War at Red Square - Moscow (Russia) recently.

During the program, the audience also had the chance to interact with outstanding sports figures who have made Vietnam shine in international arenas: Athlete Le Van Cong - Vietnam's disabled weightlifting team; swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien; player Nguyen Quang Hai of the national men's football team; karate athlete Nguyen Ngoc Tram; shooter Pham Quang Huy.
The political art program “Fatherland in the Heart” has the participation of beloved artists such as People's Artist Thu Huyen, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong; singers Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Vo Ha Tram, Dong Hung, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Ha Le, Toc Tien, Thanh Duy... contributing to conveying proud melodies, connecting the audience to sing a great national solidarity song of the new era.
